Wow...so long since I've posted

I know, I know It's been a very long time since I've posted a thing, but it seems to me that a lot of people have fizzled out of blogging so I guess I could be catagorized as one of them but I still like to hold on to it so I'll put forth a little more effort and maybe start posting more. For starts we got our family pictures done a couple of weeks ago & I Love them!!! They turned out great!!!

We Love our Two Girls!!! Life is great having them together! We are enjoying having a baby and our little "buddy" to hang out with. Time goes so fast. I know it's been forever since I posted and a lot has happened, but these two girls keep me busy!!! Love it! I Love my life, and I couldn't be Happier!!!!

We went out to dinner & Mickie got the "balloon maker's" first pig balloon he's ever made. It was his first night on the job & he went through about 10 balloons trying to get this pig right. Mickie Loved it. She kept kissing the pig's snout!

We had a campout in our backyard. Mickie was having so much fun we couldn't get her to fall asleep. Plus it was a very warm evening. I was roasting, so I think it was hard for her to get comfortable.

My first ever tomato plant, and it actually is thriving. It has so many more tomato's on it now than it did in this picture. I had to document proof though, that I could make the plant produce fruit.

Another updated "belly" shot. Obviously you can probably tell I'm running out of room & feeling very uncomfortable by this point. Plus the heat of the summer is killing me. I didn't notice much swelling until the very end of my pregnancy with Mickie but I've been swelling quite a bit lately. Still have 10 weeks to go!

Our neighbor/friend is our local Fire Station Chief & we had a lunch brunch the other day & she was on duty & stopped by. The kids all got so excited to see the fire truck, so the ladders got extended & the kids got to jump in the front seat of the truck & check it out. Mickie was a little nervous at first but as long as I held her she was thrilled about seeing the truck & was sad when it left.

Having a picnic up the canyon for Rick's brothers Birthday!! It was so beautiful up there, & we had perfect weather!!!

In the early morning at the cabin we could hear this loud annoying noise & couldn't figure out what it was, then we saw this huge hawk just chillin' at the top of this pine tree right outside our front doors.







We've been doing great lately! Mickie has just decided that she's ready for a Toddler bed, because she kept jumping out of her crib & that had me on edge, so thank goodness she initiated that change before the baby got here & "stole" her bed. We've been working with Mickie & newborn babies. Trying to get her excited about the arrival of her little sister & teaching her how to be gentle!!! She's not very gentle with Bella lately but she is starting to cuddle her stuffed cow & wrap her in a blanket & try to change her diaper, so it's good to see the mothering/nuturing instincts starting to kick in. We went to Storytime at our local Library for the first time this week & Mickie Loved it!!! I think they do a wonderful job at it. The kids get to listen to a story then they have puppet's & songs they get to sing and dance to. I was very impressed! I got a Library card and plan on visiting often. Our summer has been a lot of fun so far & has gone by so fast but we are looking forward to the weather cooling off a bit, hopefully, & excited for fall & the changes it will bring. Like the beautiful colored trees & the arrival of our second daughter!!

Major Picture Update!!!

So I realized that I haven't posted any new updated pictures since February so this is a catch-up from then. Probably because I don't like to be in a whole lot of pictures when I'm pregnant and "glowing" but I have been taking snapshots of our family and what's going on in our lives....so..Enjoy!!! This is us, Celebrating our 2nd pregnancy! I found out the day before.

If anyone needs their computer fixed just call us over & Mickie will take a look at it. She loves Technology!!!

Popcorn anyone? You can have some but Mickie has to be the one to give it out. Even to the dogs, she has us all cracking up, because she spills half of it when she does it! Just more for the dogs.

Her first real Easter egg hunt. These were real eggs & everytime she saw one she would call it a ball & pick it up and then literally throw the eggs on top of each other in the basket. They were all cracked & shattered but it was sooo funny! We kept laughing every time she threw an egg.

My little helper bee in the kitchen. We were making snickerdoodles & we got the most compliments I've ever gotten on these cookies. I think it must have been Mickie's two secret ingredients, Pepper & Sprinkles. Definately a must-try!!!

We went and checked out some real life farm animals. Mickie Loves animals but when it came to seeing them in real life she was really clingy. She acted scared. So I just held her. I think she still enjoyed herself & the whole experience.

The pony rides. There was No way she was going to let us put her on a pony for a ride. She cried & gripped onto us so tight when she realized we were considering it.

Rick & I celebrated our 3 Year anniversary in Dana Point, California for a couple of days. We missed our little munchkin a lot but also enjoyed the time we got to spend together. If feels like forever since it's been just the two of us. Life is a lot duller without a toddler running around & making it interesting.

Swimming on Memorial Day. Mickie had a blast jumping into the water. She just kept trying to jump in wherever we weren't there to catch her. She thought that was sooo funny. It had our hearts racing. She can't swim yet!!

We got the opportunity to go visit my Grandma (Mickies Great-Grandma) for a couple of days. She has the absolute most beautiful garden/rose garden ever. I snapped this shot of Mickie smelling the aroma of this beautiful lavendar rose!! She's so cute!!!

We had a local parade that my sister-in-law was in. She got to dress up as Cinderella & I wanted Mickie to see her, so I made sure I caught her before the parade started & then Mickie didn't even recognize her. She Loves her Aunt Tiffy.....but not like this. She cried when she got too close. You can see the scepticism in her face. Funny thing about it is, when we left & we were looking through the pictures Mickie kept pointing to the pictures saying "Tiffy, Tiffy" and then smiling. I don't get it!

All the Princesses & Princes. Mickies got her eye on all of them. Just in case they are up to anything, she will know! LOL!

Mickie invented this new modernized, updated version of the original cupholder. I searched every where to find her sippy cup. I cracked me up to see it just chillin' in my cute hubbies work boots!

We went up the canyon for Father's Day and had ourselves a fun little picnic!

Breakfast of champions right here. Thanks to her Daddy. He picked up some fresh doughnuts. Mickie had never had one before. She loved it! But only this one.

Having more fun at different summer festivities! There was a petting zoo here, but Mickie wouldn't touch even one of the animals. They had bunnies, turtles, horses, cows, goats etc. She had a blast on the swing ride they had going.

Enjoying the hot air balloons this 4th of July. Mickie loved them!!! Lately she's been into anything she sees in the sky wether it's a plane, hanglider, helicopter. She'll hear it and point it out to me, then jump around all excited, screaming! It's cute, so I knew I would get to take her to go see all these balloons take off. It was an early morning & Mickie kept giving me a mad, frustrated look because she didn't understand why I drug her out of bed so early, but she got over it quick when she saw.

Tony the Tiger was new this year! Mickie kept growling and pointing to him!!

She Loved that Pink pig!!! She pointed him out in the beginning & she kept tabs on him the whole time he was in the air!! She kept calling him "pig, pig!"

Didn't like "Smokey the Bear" one bit. Why am I not surprised. She's not having any of it! And yes, she does normally love to point out bears & growl, but didn't want to see a guy in a stuffed bear costume up close & personal like this at all!

My Cute 4th of July girl!!

We all got together for my sister's Birthday & had a BBQ, & my Dad made some homemade ice cream. It was yummy!! We got to enjoy some fireworks later that evening! Mickie hardly even cared they were going on. It was funny. She was just having a blast running around, hyped up on sugar at such a late hour. (You have to wait till it's dark to light off fireworks & in the summer that's way past Mickie's bedtime.)
